A DAY IN

Cayo Romano

Each morning, skiffs depart from Cayo Romano, heading to various fishing spots depending on the day's guide rotation. Whether venturing north to Cayo Paredon Grande or south to Cayo Guanaja, anglers can explore countless islands, lagoons, and bays teeming with fish. Most fishing occurs near the mainland, around the expansive Cayo Romano, with average boat rides lasting about 20 minutes. In some areas, you'll find fish just 5 minutes from the docks. With 50 square kilometers of fishing grounds per boat, the possibilities are nearly endless, offering an experience that can feel like sensory overload.
