Where to Fish – May 2023 – Rim Streams & Lakes

All creeks are fishing incredibly well. They have all been stocked other than Knoll Lake. East Verde is stocked with Gila Trout. Tonto Creek is fishing great. See the link below for the stocking schedule to stay up-to-date on the latest.

Hagler Creek, Willow Springs, Woods Canyon, and Christopher Creek. You also could get lucky and catch a smallmouth bass at Willow Springs which is fun on a fly rod! Flies to try are blowtorch, bright colored perdigon, semiseal leeches, Pat’s rubber legs, pheasant tails, hares ear, and stim.
