Lower Goldwater Lake is located in Prescott and is loaded with Palomino and Gila Trout. It is a catch and release, single barbless hook fishery. With this warm weather, waters are warming up and this lake is fishing very well! Walk the banks and wade out where possible. Fish are holding close to shore so no need to be a distance caster. This lake is tree-lined so roll casting will be the ticket. For flies, try black simi seal leeches, egg and worm patterns in various colors, and zebra midges 7 feet under an indicator will catch fish.
