The Valley of the Sun Carp Rally is your chance to put your angling skills to the test during 24 straight hours of carp fishing across the Valley—with prizes, community, and a great cause behind it all.
How It Works
Compete in teams of 2 and choose your strategy:
🎯 Catch the BIGGEST carp
🎯 Catch the MOST carp in 24 hours
Winning teams take home over $1,000 per angler—plus year-long bragging rights as the Valley’s carp champions.
💵 Registration
$200 per Team (2 anglers)
Each team registration includes:
- 2 Tickets to the Fly Fishing Film Tour (Sunday, Sept 20th at 4 PM)
- 2 Official Annual Carp Rally Shirts
- A Swag Bag featuring products from top fly fishing brands
AZGFD TROUT CHALLENGE
Arizona’s Trout Challenge Program was developed to encourage anglers to learn more about fishing opportunities in Arizona. The Arizona Game and Fish Department manages many waters across the state to provide anglers the opportunity to catch several different species of trout, including the Gila Trout that is only found in Arizona and New Mexico, and the Apache Trout that is only found in the White Mountains of Arizona.
TWO WAYS TO JOIN…
Catch at least six of the eight total species in Arizona (including hatchery-raised trout): Gila Trout , Apache Trout, Brown Trout, Brook Trout, Artic Grayling, Cutthroat Trout, and Tiger Trout.
Catch all five species of wild trout in Arizona. These species include Apache Trout, Gila Trout, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Brook trout.
